Mind Mapping is a creative tool used by Inferential Focus for assisting in the development and description of a change or new dynamic. Mind Maps allow us to put the intelligence we have gathered into context and depict visually the specific events in the world that illustrate the dynamic. We typically develop a Mind Map for any significant dynamic, and also work with clients to build Mind Maps that explore intelligence specific to their interests.

A dynamic we have identified in our Discovery Process is named the Sandwiched Generation Squeezed. The intelligence we gathered tells us that more and more individuals are facing the challenge of performing in the workplace while caring for their elderly relatives and being responsible for their own children. We have dubbed this large group of 25 to 65 year olds the "sandwiched generation." We begin the Mind Map with the dynamic in a circle on the center of an empty page.
